Job summary

Gulftech International is seeking an Engineering Project Coordinator to plan, organize, and oversee projects. The role requires delivering on time and within budget while reporting weekly to management.

The coordinator will create scopes, budgets, schedules, and coordinate with sales, engineering, production planning, and operations. Travel, including foreign assignments, may be required and overtime could be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years related experience.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget in a technical environment.
• Demonstrated team coordination skills.
• Must be detail-oriented, analytical, and computer literate with proven leadership skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of construction, manufacturing, and installation practices/techniques.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, processes, and product lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Create project scopes, objectives, and budgets with sales and engineering.
• Generate project schedules and track milestones.
• Schedules engineering work and interfaces with customers for approval.
• Interface with production planning, manufacturing, and operations to facilitate equipment preparation.
• Support manufacturing personnel as required.
• Support the production team during equipment installations.
• Review equipment specification sheets and sales orders to ensure all necessary components have been ordered at the onset of project.
• Coordinate equipment shipments and their respective details.
• Schedule and monitor installation activities. Facilitates any on-site travel and per diem issues.
• Report status (schedules, budgets, technical issues) to management on a regular basis.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
