Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Project Billing Specialist to join our Meridian, ID team. This role focuses on client billing, accounts receivable, and maintaining billing accuracy across projects. You will collaborate with Project Managers and Finance to ensure timely revenue recognition and compliant billing practices.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in project accounting or a relevant degree, with strong Excel and communication skills. Occasional travel to offices may be needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in project accounting with a primary focus on project billings or a Bachelor’s degree with 0+ years’ experience.
• Strong initiative, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across offices and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit client invoices in accordance with contract terms, billing schedules, and project requirements.
• Ensure accurate billing of labor, expenses, subcontractors, and contract modifications.
• Maintain billing records, remittance information, and supporting documentation.
• Submit invoices through client billing portals and resolve invoicing issues.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and assist with collections on outstanding balances.
• Partner with Project Managers and clients to address billing questions and discrepancies.
• Assist with project setup by entering contract terms, billing structures, rate tables, and revenue methods.
• Support onboarding activities within the accounting system and process subcontractor invoices for payment.
