Job summary

TCOM seeks an Engineering Project Manager to lead cross-functional programs spanning software, electrical, mechanical, aerospace, and manufacturing domains. You will manage integrated schedules, identify risks, and drive execution from concept to production.

Ideal candidates will navigate architecture discussions with software, integration with systems engineering, and manufacturing readiness with product management, while maintaining clear communication with leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another technical discipline.
• 2+ years leading complex engineering or technical product development programs.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary hardware and software development efforts.
• Ability to work with software, electrical, mechanical, systems, test, manufacturing, and product management teams.
• Strong understanding of development lifecycles, systems engineering, verification, and production readiness.
• Experience building integrated schedules and managing cross-functional dependencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of complex, cross-functional engineering programs from concept through production.
• Build and maintain integrated project plans across software, hardware, systems, and manufacturing teams.
• Drive day-to-day program execution by identifying dependencies and blockers.
• Work with engineering leads to understand technical progress beyond schedule updates.
• Identify risks early and facilitate mitigation planning with clear impacts.
• Facilitate engineering reviews and cross-functional planning sessions.
• Decompose large initiatives into achievable milestones with focus on product objectives.
• Monitor project health using engineering metrics, not just task completion.
• Coordinate with Product Management to translate priorities into plans.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations for production readiness.
• Communicate program status and tradeoffs to leadership and executives.
• Improve planning, estimation, and execution processes across the organization.
