Job summary

Heven AeroTech in Winchester, VA, is seeking an Engineering Production Manager for Hydrogen Systems to lead the initial and scalable production of fuel cell powertrains and hydrogen generation systems at our Winchester facility.

You will partner with engineering and production leads to translate designs into repeatable build workflows, supervise the production team, and build the infrastructure required to safely assemble high-pressure hydrogen hardware for unmanned systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline is required.
• 15+ years in production, manufacturing or operations management.
• Experience standing up or scaling low-volume production of complex hardware.
• Experience hiring and managing production staff.
• Experience with high-pressure gas or hazardous-material hardware assembly.
• Familiarity with relevant pressure system codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Stand up and manage initial and low-volume production and integration.
• Translate designs into defined build processes and workflows.
• Lead and develop the production team and staffing plans.
• Build production infrastructure including tools and test stations.
• Own production scheduling, throughput, and capacity planning.
• Develop roadmaps to scale production from low-volume to higher-rate manufacturing.
• Drive continuous improvement in yield, cycle time, and cost.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 2, ASME, CGA, and DOT/DOE regulations.
• Collaborate with quality, supply chain, and program management to align plans.
