Job summary

Heven AeroTech in Winchester, VA is seeking an Engineering Configuration Manager for Hydrogen to own the configuration management and documentation backbone from development into scalable manufacturing.

You will govern baselines, change control, and design documents across engineering, production, and field operations, collaborating with fuel cell engineering, quality, and supply chain to ensure safe production transitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in PLM, manufacturing engineering, NPI or tech transfer.
• Experience taking hardware from prototype to production, including DFM/DFA.
• Working knowledge of BOM structures, change management, and PLM/PDM tooling.
• Able to read engineering drawings, P&IDs, and system schematics.
• Strong project management with cross-functional coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Structure and maintain multi-level BOMs with full traceability.
• Own end-to-end change management for ECR/ECO/ECN processes.
• Administer PLM/PDM software to enforce revision control.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to prevent version drift.
