Job summary

California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) seeks an Associate Director for Outreach, Recruitment, Retention, and Grants to lead the Outreach and Recruitment Office and all MESA programs within the College of Engineering. The role includes coordinating with the Engineering Student Success Center to organize outreach events and support recruitment initiatives.

The position is 1.0 time-base, 40 hours per week, temporary for one year with no permanent status.

Responsibilities

• Lead, implement, and assess all operations of the Outreach and Recruitment Office and of all MESA programs in the college.
• Identify opportunities and participate in development of grant proposals to support recruitment and retention of engineering students.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to organize and host outreach and recruitment events.
• Coordinate with the Learning Communities Coordinator on recruitment and retention programs and with the Recruitment and Outreach Specialist on outreach and fundraising activities.
