Job summary

Qualifications

• Equivalent to graduation from a four year college or university in counseling, education, human relations, STEM or related fields.
• Four years of professional student services work experience.
• Masters or higher degree preferred.
• Live Scan background check required.
• Long distance travel to monthly and quarterly MESA statewide meetings is mandatory.
• Experience in developing grant proposals and fundraising is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain sustaining relationships with ESSC staff, College of Engineering faculty, middle and high school personnel.
• Plan and implement new student recruitment and retention programs.
• Identify funding opportunities and develop grant proposals to support student success initiatives and events.
• MESA Program planning, development, implementation, administration and assessment.
• Collaborate with statewide MESA participation and outreach/fundraising activities.
