Job summary

IFP Motion Solutions is seeking an Engineering Coordinator to serve as the vital link between customers, Engineering, Purchasing, and the production floor. You will receive, expedite, and track production orders and their components, keeping bills of material, pricing, and delivery commitments accurate from order entry through shipment.

You will manage order acknowledgements, communicate status updates, and coordinate vendor activity to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in customer service.
• Two years of background in an industrial or technical environment.
• Demonstrated organizational skill.
• Exceptional computer aptitude with a strong working knowledge of Excel.
• Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Receives, expedites, and tracks production orders and their components and processes.
• Verifies that bills of material and pricing are current and correct on every order.
• Coordinates production release and drawings with the shop and issues purchase orders to vendors.
• Communicates status updates and answers customer questions; monitors delays to protect on-time delivery commitments.
• Completes shipping paperwork for finished orders and handles document file management.
