Job summary

Crusoe Energy Systems is seeking a seasoned program/operations leader to own the people and process stack for Cloud Engineering. You will manage headcount planning, intake, and onboarding, partnering with Recruiting, Finance, and HR to build scalable operating rhythms and systems.

You will drive All-Hands programs, improve executive communications, and push adoption through change management across multiple sites, while building repeatable playbooks for growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in program management, business operations, or people operations in fast-growth engineering context.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills and automation with Apps Script, APIs or AI-assisted tooling.
• Excellent written communication for cross-functional collaboration with senior leaders.
• Direct experience with headcount planning, requisitions, and workforce reconciliation across Finance and Talent.
• Proven track record running all-hands or large-audience programs for 500+ people.
• Change management and stakeholder communications for operating-model rollouts.
• Experience launching intern/early-career pipelines at new sites.
• Experience managing program/event budgets and leading a small growing team.
• Ability to operate with ambiguity and high volume while delivering measurable adoption.
• Familiarity with Workday, Jira, Confluence, Ashby or related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own headcount planning for Cloud Engineering in partnership with Recruiting; reconcile requisitions and forecast data.
• Run intake and prioritization for new/backfill roles; align leaders on critical roles and timelines.
• Collaborate with Recruiting and Finance on hiring pace and budget usage; develop intake SOPs.
• Produce and maintain org charts and span-of-control views for leadership.
• Coordinate interview processes: panel setup, capacity planning, and timely feedback.
• Lead All-Hands events and internal communications across multiple sites; manage topics and decks.
• Drive adoption of tech talks and org-wide programming; oversee site-wide engagements.
• Manage intern/early-career programs for Cloud Engineering; coordinate offers and mentoring.
• Partner with People on manager enablement, onboarding programs, and onboarding satisfaction metrics.
• Develop and maintain program playbooks; own change-management plans and stakeholder updates.
• Maintain artifacts (Sheets/Docs/Jira/Confluence); migrate to scalable systems where possible.
