Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or 4+ years as Chief Engineer or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Proven supervisory experience and effective communication skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Engineering Department as acting manager in absence of Director of Engineering.
• Supervise preventive maintenance programs per corporate standards and regulations.
• Schedule and coordinate with vendors/contractors; monitor service quality and safety.
• Ensure life safety systems and hotel utilities operate 100% and comply with codes.
• Prepare schedules, logs, records, and documentation to minimize liabilities.
• Hire, train, and evaluate hourly staff; enforce SOP and safety policies.
