Job summary

Quest Global in Schenectady, NY, seeks an Engineering Operations Lead to partner with engineering and business leaders to drive operational performance, governance, financial oversight, and continuous improvement across engineering and service delivery teams.

You will coordinate operating rhythms, develop dashboards, and lead cross-functional initiatives to strengthen efficiency and accountability in a globally distributed organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years in business operations, project operations, or financial governance.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and driving improvements.
• Strong understanding of operational governance, financial controls, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Support annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly operating rhythms.
• Assist in strategic planning and execution of priorities across engineering teams.
• Establish and report KPIs; monitor business health and performance.
• Oversee project operational processes: setup, PO validation, WBS, and resource tracking.
• Monitor project financials: revenue recognition, invoicing, forecasting, reporting.
• Ensure timesheet compliance and audit readiness; drive process adherence.
• Develop dashboards and management reports for insights and decisions.
• Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives to raise efficiency and accountability.
