Job summary

Intrepidus Talent Solutions seeks an experienced Engineering Operations Leader to build and lead the operating discipline of a global engineering organization. Reporting to the EVP of Engineering, this role translates strategy into executable portfolio plans, establishes operating rhythms, and ensures teams have the resources and cross-functional alignment to deliver reliably.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent STEM field.
8+ years of progressive experience in engineering operations or related functions.
Experience partnering with C-suite and EVP-level leaders.
Proficiency with engineering analytics systems and data-to-insights.
Experience managing headcount budgets, vendor procurement, and FinOps.

Responsibilities

Engineering Operating Rhythm: establish and lead portfolio reviews, planning cadences, KPI governance and decision forums.
Portfolio Delivery & Risk Management: drive cross-functional initiatives from planning through delivery.
Capacity Planning & Strategic Staffing: own end-to-end capacity and workforce planning.
Organizational Effectiveness: identify skill gaps and optimize staffing mix.
Financial Governance & Cost Optimization: manage multi-million-dollar budgets and cloud spend.
Metrics, Analytics & Executive Reporting: provide actionable insights and concise reporting to executives.
