BNY is seeking a COO for Engineering / Head of Engineering Hub in New York, NY. This senior role shapes and drives the strategic, operational, and organizational agenda for Engineering across the enterprise, partnering with senior stakeholders to scale a data-driven engineering organization.

You will lead enterprise capabilities, governance, analytics, talent and location strategy, and strategic technology partnerships to enable a high-performing engineering franchise at scale.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading enterprise technology strategy and engineering transformation.
• Experience in chief of staff/COO-like leadership within a complex organization.
• Ability to advise senior leaders and drive cross-functional alignment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of Engineering and leadership team, improving focus and organizational effectiveness.
• Define and drive the strategic direction for Engineering across BNY with measurable goals and execution plans.
• Lead the Engineering 2.0 transformation agenda with governance, oversight, and progress reporting.
• Establish leadership team rhythms and management routines to improve execution discipline.
• Improve the Engineering operating model with clear priorities, decision rights, and strong interfaces.
• Oversee enterprise engineering strategy, analytics, and insights to drive decision-making and performance.
• Advance digitalization and process improvements to simplify workflows and increase efficiency.
• Drive AI-for-Engineering adoption and other enablement efforts to boost productivity and delivery outcomes.
