Job summary

EY is seeking an Engineering Administrator to serve as the operational backbone of a fast-moving engineering team. The role is a dedicated administrative and operations position, not engineering, focused on removing friction and keeping licensing, procurement, and vendor processes running smoothly.

You will coordinate across functions, manage budgets, onboarding/offboarding, and maintain accurate records, enabling engineers to focus on delivery while ensuring compliance and orderly operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Experience managing recurring processes like renewals, procurement, budgets, or vendor coordination.
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint).
• Ability to track multiple workstreams with high accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the software license lifecycle: procuring, renewing, tracking, reallocating, and retiring licenses and SaaS subscriptions.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships: coordinating quotes, contracts, renewals, and points of contact.
• Handle procurement and purchasing: raising purchase requests and orders, tracking approvals, reconciling invoices.
• Track and support the team’s operational budget: monitoring spend and maintaining records for leadership.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding logistics: accounts, hardware, access requests, tool provisioning.
• Maintain hardware and asset inventory: tracking equipment, repairs, replacements, and records.
• Administer access and account requests: approvals across systems and keeping records current.
• Keep team documentation organized: trackers, distribution lists, shared drives, SOPs, reference materials.
• Support compliance and audit readiness: licensing, procurement, asset records, internal reporting.
• Serve as a central point of coordination: fielding questions and resolving issues.
