Job summary

EY in the United States seeks an Engineering Administrator to serve as the operational backbone for a fast-moving engineering org. This dedicated administrative role removes friction, coordinates across functions, and handles recurring tasks to keep the team productive and compliant.

You’ll own licensing, vendor relationships, procurement, budgeting, onboarding/offboarding, and asset inventory, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• 3+ years in an administrative, operations, procurement, or coordination role.
• Experience managing recurring processes such as renewals, procurement, budgets, or vendor coordination.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint) or equivalent tools.
• Track and manage multiple workstreams and deadlines with high accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the software license lifecycle: procuring, renewing, tracking, reallocating, and retiring licenses and SaaS subscriptions.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships: coordinating quotes, contracts, renewals, and points of contact.
• Handle procurement and purchasing: raising purchase requests and orders, tracking approvals, reconciling invoices.
• Track and support the team’s operational budget: monitoring spend and maintaining records.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding logistics: accounts, hardware, access requests, provisioning, deprovisioning.
• Maintain hardware and asset inventory: tracking equipment and repairs.
