Job summary

Hilton Universal/Los Angeles is seeking an Engineering Coordinator to provide administrative, operational, and project support to the Engineering team, ensuring smooth daily department functioning.

You will manage work orders, scheduling, documentation, and compliance, acting as a liaison between hotel departments, vendors, and engineering leadership to keep the property guest-ready and aligned with brand standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years in administrative, facilities, engineering, or hospitality experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and work-order systems; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, assign, and close work orders within the hotel’s maintenance management system.
• Prioritize and route service requests to engineering staff based on urgency and skill set.
• Track preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of PM tasks.
• Maintain organized engineering records including safety logs and manuals.
• Assist with preparing departmental budgets, expense tracking, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards and local/regulatory guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with other departments regarding maintenance needs.
• Support emergencies, renovations, and safety drills as required.
