Overview

An Engineering Coordinator performs administrative duties including the coordination of maintenance and warranty requests, recording and tracking maintenance needs, typing, filing, answering telephones, taking messages, responding to and troubleshooting maintenance requests, and other general office duties.

Wage: $27–$30 per hour

Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1 year of administrative or coordinator experience in a position requiring supportive functions.
  • Ability to perform clerical duties such as typing, filing, copying, emailing, answering, and responding to telephone calls and messages.
  • Ability to prepare departmental communication pieces, parts and office supply procurement administration, and service and work order contract administration.
  • Ability to read and write English effectively to communicate with guests and team members.
  • Ability to communicate pleasantly and effectively with guests and co‑workers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and related programs).
Responsibilities
  • Clerical duties including typing, filing, copying, emailing, answering, and responding to telephone calls and messages.
  • Coordinate meetings and record minutes.
  • Prepare departmental communication pieces, and manage parts, office supply procurement, and service/work order contract administration.
  • Maintain records of facility licenses and permits, including renewal administration.
  • Assist in recruiting, scheduling interviews, and training new hires; support the department with time management on project execution.
  • Unify and maintain all internal documents.
  • Respond to visitor and guest requests, questions, and concerns; facilitate resolution or refer to appropriate manager.
  • Ensure all office equipment, printers, and phones are maintained and fully functional.
  • Perform operational duties such as expediting orders and deliveries; supervise installation, material inventory, product delivery coordination, and housemen on projects; track hours spent by tradesmen to record capital labor.
  • Open and distribute mail, order office supplies, handle daily filing, make appointments, handle office visitors, type correspondence and reports, maintain attendance and project office files.
  • Assist with project functions as assigned.
