Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, invites motivated engineering students to join the Summer 2027 Co-op program in Lafayette, GA. You will support ovens and ranges across multiple disciplines, from shop operations to process engineering, gaining real-world manufacturing experience.

The program runs May 17, 2027 – August 6, 2027, with housing and relocation assistance available for eligible students. This is a pathway to leadership programs or full-time roles after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• December 2027 or later graduation date.
• Cumulative GPA >=3.0 (out of 4.0).
• Legal authorization to work in the country/region where the business is hiring is required. No visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Set goals and objectives for your co-op rotation with your assignment leader.
• Lead teams across multiple levels of the business through influencing.
• Use initiative to find and develop process improvements.
• Assist your team with development and execution of project ideas, develop and demonstrate analytical problem-solving.
