Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, invites engineering students to join the Summer 2027 Co‑op program in Louisville, KY. You will work in operations supporting dishwasher, laundry, refrigeration, and cooking products, while gaining real world manufacturing experience and leadership exposure.

Assignments span shop operations, process and advanced manufacturing engineering, global supply chain management, quality, sourcing, and materials management.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• Graduation date December 2027 or later.
• Cumulative GPA: 3.0 or higher (out of 4.0).
• Willing to explore all sides of Supply Chain and related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Set goals and objectives for your co-op rotation with your assignment leader.
• Lead teams across multiple levels of the business through influencing.
• Identify and develop process improvements.
• Assist with development and execution of project ideas.
• Demonstrate analytical approach to problem solving.
• Work independently and manage tasks with guidance as needed.
• Schedule regular feedback sessions with your assignment leader.
• Travel 0%–10% depending on role; some roles may include overtime and weekend work.
• Start and end times vary by department; day shifts between 5:30 AM and 8:00 AM; daily transport to work required.
