GE Appliances, a Haier company, invites motivated engineering students to join our Fall 2027 Engineering/Manufacturing Co-op in Decatur, AL. You will work on refrigeration-focused projects, gain real-world manufacturing experience, and position yourself for future leadership programs or full-time roles after graduation.

The program runs Aug 16, 2027 – Dec 10, 2027 with housing and relocation assistance. Roles span shop operations, process engineering, quality, sourcing, and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or better in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering (or related degrees) or Supply Chain Management, Operations Management (or related degrees)
• May 2028 or later graduation date
• Cumulative GPA >= 3.0 (out of 4.0)
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Set goals & objectives for your co-op rotation with your assignment leader
• Lead teams across multiple levels of the business through influencing
• Use initiative to find and develop process improvements
• Assist your team with development and execution of project ideas
• Develop and demonstrate analytical approach to problem solving
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently
• Set regular feedback sessions with your assignment leader
• Travel 0%-10% depending on role
• Hours and weekends: Some overtime & Saturdays may be required depending on role
• All roles are day shift (5:30 AM - 8:00 AM start window)
