Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, in Louisville, KY, is seeking an Engineering/Manufacturing Co-op for Summer 2027. You will join a fast-growing team supporting multiple manufacturing disciplines and gain real-world experience.

The program runs May 17, 2027 – August 6, 2027, with housing and relocation assistance for eligible students. Ideal candidates are undergrad seniors in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or related fields with a 3.0+ GPA and potential for leadership.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or better in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering (or related degrees) or Supply Chain Management/ Operations Management (or related degrees)
• December 2027 or later graduation date
• GPA >= 3.0 (out of 4.0)
• Willing to explore all sides of Supply Chain (Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, Materials, Maintenance, Lean, Distribution, Fulfillment, etc.)
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• GE Appliances will not sponsor employment visas now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Set goals and objectives for your co-op rotation with your assignment leader
• Lead teams across multiple levels of the business through influencing
• Identify and develop process improvements
• Assist your team with project ideas and execution
• Develop analytical approaches to problem solving
• Demonstrate ability to work independently
• Schedule regular feedback sessions with your leader
• Travel 0%–10% depending on role
• Hours and weekends: overtime or Saturdays may be required
• Roles begin between 5:30 AM and 8:00 AM
