Job summary

WaterFleet is seeking an Engineering Manager in San Antonio, TX who will lead all engineering projects for potable water and wastewater systems. The role requires a PE in Texas, 5+ years of design and execution experience, and strong multi-disciplinary coordination across teams.

You will oversee budgets, proposals, regulatory engagement, and supplier relationships, while mentoring staff and driving on-time project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering design required and 5+ years in water/wastewater projects.
• Current Texas Professional Engineer registration required.
• CAD and hydraulic/process modeling software experience required.
• Strong communication and writing skills; ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering projects end-to-end across multiple disciplines.
• Provide project oversight with operations and installation teams.
• Determine best technology upgrades for water and wastewater systems.
• Review drawings, submittals and regulatory documents; prepare proposals and budgets.
• Lead startup, commissioning and acceptance activities; support regulatory engagement.
