WaterFleet is seeking an Engineering Manager in San Antonio, TX who will lead all engineering projects for potable water and wastewater systems. The role requires a PE in Texas, 5+ years of design and execution experience, and strong multi-disciplinary coordination across teams.
You will oversee budgets, proposals, regulatory engagement, and supplier relationships, while mentoring staff and driving on-time project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

WaterFleet’s Engineering Manager is responsible for oversight and direct management of all Engineering projects at the company. Projects primarily involve product design development and improvement, documentation, costing, assistance in proposal development, submittal preparation, regulatory engagement, including review and stamp of designs and documentation when needed, and technical support of business development. Areas of engineering primarily include decentralized potable water and domestic wastewater equipment design and services which require process engineering, electrical, and mechanical aptitude. This position also includes team management, scheduling work, providing training, and reviewing work. The Engineering Manager must possess an understanding of multi-disciplinary team coordination, compilation of design and construction contract documents, design standards and practices, and the ability to interact with multiple business groups and external suppliers, consultants, etc. Additionally, he/she must be able to facilitate and support lunch and learns or group activities, develop technical training programs for internal staff, possess strong writing and oral skills, and have a track record of completing work on time and adhering to budgets.
