Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design in San Antonio/Houston, TX is seeking a Project Engineer to join our growing water/wastewater team. You will work on feasibility, design, and master planning for water systems, collaborating with a cross-disciplinary team to deliver safe and reliable infrastructure.

The role requires a BS in environmental or civil engineering, 4–6+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and OpenRoads. FE/PE preferred, strong communication required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in environmental engineering or civil engineering.
• FE and/or PE preferred.
• 4–6+ years in civil/environmental with water/wastewater focus.
• Experience with pipe lines and pump stations.
• Experience with AutoCAD and OpenRoads.

Responsibilities

• Independently apply extensive and diversified knowledge in broad areas of assignments.
• Prepare advanced engineering designs and/or technical data for completion and accuracy.
• Design and review project documents for conformity and quality assurance.
• Analyze and interpret data, formulate and solve problems.
• Prepare scopes of work, budgets, and schedule assignments.
• Prepare proposals to provide professional services.
• Provide direction to engineers, technicians and administrative staff.
• Work with AutoCAD Civil 3D and design team managers to complete projects on time.
• Perform field investigations/site visits as needed.
• Review hydraulic calculations and utility layouts.
• Conduct client meetings and provide technical guidance.
