Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for design, implementation, support, and optimization of Unified Communications solutions, including voice and video technologies.

The ideal candidate will lead supervisors, manage priorities and budgets, and drive operational excellence across engineering functions in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering, telecommunications, networking or IT management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a medium-sized engineering organization consisting of multiple technical disciplines and subordinate supervisors.
• Oversee the delivery, support, and continuous improvement of Unified Communications services, including voice, video, and telecommunications solutions.
• Prioritize engineering initiatives and ensure projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives.
• Develop, implement, and maintain engineering processes, policies, and best practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and strategic opportunities for modernization and operational improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships, contract performance, billing reconciliation, and procurement activities.
• Support project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and cost/feasibility analysis.
• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to ensure engineering efforts align with business and customer requirements.
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and career development for engineering team members.
