Job summary

CAE USA is seeking a senior engineering lead to manage the TSSC Engineering team, guiding software and hardware modifications for C-17 ATS training devices. You will coordinate test planning, documentation, and certification activities while supervising junior staff and collaborating with project managers.

The role requires a BS in a relevant engineering field, 5+ years in simulation, and strong skills in C/C++, UNIX/Linux, and Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or technical equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in simulation field.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop assigned TSSC engineers to deliver software and hardware modifications for training devices.
• Design, modify, write and implement software applications and test plans.
• Install, test, and document software changes to training equipment, including site prep.
• Coordinate test and evaluation activities and track certification discrepancies (CDs).
• Provide technical direction to junior team members and liaise with project managers and instructors.
