Job summary

Northrop Grumman, a leader in aerospace and defense, seeks a Manager Engineering 2 for its Salt Lake City site. You will lead a Manufacturing Test Engineering team, drive test procedure development, and steer data-driven improvements across the factory.

The role requires strong leadership, budget and schedule oversight, and excellent written and verbal communication with cross-site collaboration. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in engineering (or 6+ with a Master’s), manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related STEM with 8 years of engineering experience; or Master’s degree with 6 years of engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing Test Engineering support for the systems factory.
• Test procedures development and maintenance over manufacturing test operations.
• Continuing process improvement based on data driven metrics.
• Interface with and build relationships across organizations in Salt Lake City, Woodland Hills and other NGC sites.
• Organization representative to program office and external customer as needed.
• Supervise a team of engineers including but not limited to performance evaluations, goal setting, and developing a strategic vision for the team.
