Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Salt Lake City is seeking a qualified professional to lead cross-functional projects supporting products and manufacturing processes. You will perform risk assessments, provide recommendations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while documenting Standard Shop Practices, Policies and Procedures.

In this role you will support audits, research and procurement for ESD and FOD programs, and contribute to a facility that upholds 6S lean principles and AS9100

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8 years of experience or Master's degree in STEM with 6 years of experience.
• Understanding of electro-static principles and electro-static sensitive devices.
• Knowledge or experience with FOD Critical protocol.
• Knowledge and/or experience of 6S lean methodology principles.
• Knowledge and experience with AS9100 certification requirements.
• Cross-functional project management experience.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Cross-functional indirect leadership for developing and implementing projects in support of products and manufacturing processes.
• Performing risk assessments and providing recommendations.
• Leading continuous improvement projects.
• Documentation of Standard Shop Practices, Policies and Procedures.
• Supporting audits.
• Research and procurement of supplies and equipment to support the ESD and FOD programs.
