Job summary

Inversion seeks an Engineering Manager for Arc Vehicle Mechanical in Playa Vista, CA. You will lead the team responsible for mechanical design, analysis, build support, integration, and qualification of Arc vehicle structures, mechanisms, and thermal protection systems.

You will own delivery of Arc’s primary structures and TPS. The role requires 8+ years in aerospace hardware, plus 2+ years of people management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• 2+ years of formal people-management experience with leading engineering teams.
• Excellent communication across hardware, software, and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily execution and technical direction of the Arc Vehicle Mechanical team.
• Own delivery of Arc primary structures, mechanisms, and TPS.
• Coordinate mechanical interfaces, installation requirements, and load paths.
