Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks an Engineering Manager to provide leadership and technical oversight for engineering services at the Marshall Space Flight Center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or Architecture from an accredited university.
• PE registration or Registered Architect is highly preferred.
• 8–10 years of relevant engineering experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Prior experience in project execution within aerospace, federal, or large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards, project execution procedures, and quality management practices.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and deliver complex projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of engineering design processes, procurement, and construction support.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project controls tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers across multiple disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.).
• Oversee planning, design, and execution of engineering tasks for buildings, structures, and sites.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineering staff.
• Coordinate with Program Manager to align deliverables with client expectations.
• Monitor performance, schedule, and cost metrics for efficient execution.
• Represent engineering in meetings with NASA stakeholders and project partners.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and QA requirements.
• Drive innovations and process improvements across the team.
• Coordinate between engineering, construction supervision, GIS, and inspection teams.
