Job summary

APX Company is seeking an Engineering Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for the Engineering Department. You will oversee the design and support of custom sheet metal enclosures and fabricated products from concept through production, while guiding a high-performing team and aligning with Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions.

• Lead, coach, and develop the Engineering team to high performance.
• Set department goals, priorities, and performance expectations aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee workload, staffing, and resource allocation to meet customer and production demands.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and development of custom sheet metal enclosures and fabricated assemblies.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, models, and BOMs.
• Ensure compliance with customer specs, codes, and UL requirements.
• Establish design standards to improve manufacturability and efficiency.
• Lead engineering process improvements and metrics tracking.
