Job summary

Trend Micro’s TrendAI unit seeks a technical leader to guide a team of data and software engineers building the Security Ontology platform. You will own the ontology roadmap, translate strategy into concrete engineering objectives, and deliver scalable services that power AI agents and security workflows.

You will mentor engineers, establish standards, and drive multi-team execution while balancing near-term product delivery with long-term architecture, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of software engineering experience with distributed systems or data-intensive platforms.
• Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience designing ontology, knowledge graphs, and semantic data models.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Security Ontology platform team of data and software engineers.
• Own end-to-end ontology roadmap from planning to production rollout.
• Translate strategy into engineering objectives, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Establish engineering standards, code quality practices, and delivery metrics.
• Drive multi-workstream execution, manage dependencies and risks.
• Mentor leads and engineers to build a scalable organization.
• Balance rapid product delivery with foundational architecture and reliability.
