Job summary

TrendAI in Austin is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build a scalable data foundation for our ontology-driven security platform. You will design ingestion pipelines, semantic mappings, and knowledge graphs that enable AI agents and automated investigations.

You will work with security, product, and cloud teams to implement batch and streaming architectures on modern cloud platforms and ensure data quality and governance across billions of events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data/Platform Engineering or related fields.
• Experience building large-scale distributed data systems.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data pipelines powering ontology platform.
• Ingest security telemetry, alerts, assets, and identities.
• Implement schema mapping and entity resolution across products.
• Collaborate with product teams to onboard new security products.
