Job summary

TrendAI, the security-focused unit of Trend Micro, is seeking a technical leader to drive Ontology engineering and Knowledge Graph initiatives. You will lead a team of data engineers and software engineers to build scalable security knowledge systems and agent-ready capabilities.

You will own the ontology roadmap, collaborate with product, architecture, and AI/ML teams, and set engineering standards to deliver measurable business value at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with distributed systems or data-intensive platforms.
• Proven track record leading engineering teams cross-functionally.
• Experience delivering multi-team initiatives from planning to production.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Security Ontology platform engineering team.
• Own end-to-end delivery of ontology roadmap and platform services.
• Drive semantic modeling, entity resolution, and knowledge graph scaling.
• Establish engineering standards, processes, and metrics.
• Mentor engineering leads and senior engineers.
• Balance product delivery with foundational architecture investments.
