• Drives improvements to protect users from abuse, scams, and spam in communication products.
• Mentors engineers to become technical leaders and manage cross-functional projects.
• Makes informed technical decisions balancing security, UX, compatibility, and release timelines.
• Partners with design, security, product marketing, and leadership to define trustworthy communication.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of engineers that builds and ships features strengthening the security, privacy, and safety of FaceTime and Phone across iOS, macOS, and beyond.
• Identifying and driving improvements that protect users from spam, scams, and other abuse across our communication products.
• Growing engineers into technical leaders who can own complex, cross-functional projects independently.
• Making sound technical decisions across your team's area: balancing security improvements, user experience, backward compatibility, and release timelines.
• Shaping product direction by partnering with peer engineering teams, design, security engineering, product marketing, and senior software leadership to define what trustworthy communication means for our users, and then building it.
