Clay is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and grow a high-performing software team as we scale rapidly. You will own the team's mission, deliver high-quality solutions on time, and foster an engaging, collaborative culture across product, design, support, and other engineering groups.

You will hire and onboard engineers, drive roadmap planning with PMs, and contribute to broader engineering initiatives.

Qualifications

2+ years of management experience in a fast-paced environment.
6+ years of overall software development experience and a track record of coaching 3+ direct reports.
Strong ability to communicate clearly with diverse audiences and align cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with our current tech stack or ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

Defining team purpose and areas of ownership; establish prioritization frameworks.
Planning, prioritization and staffing; set and update the team roadmap with PMs.
Build and maintain a high-performing team culture; support career growth.
Hiring, interviewing, and onboarding engineers to ramp quickly.
