Roblox is seeking an Engineering Manager for Engine Networking to lead a talented team of engineers and scale game networking technology for millions of concurrent users. You will own roadmaps and drive initiatives across the full lifecycle, while actively coding and guiding architectural decisions.

The role requires deep expertise in C++, real-time systems, and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and partners to deliver safe, high-performance experiences across platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in engineering leadership.
• Track record of leading teams that build high-performance, low-latency systems at scale.
• Deep experience with low-level systems programming across desktop, mobile, and console.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with peers, customers, partners and executives.

Responsabilités

• Be part of the leadership team, influencing direction and priorities of Engine Networking.
• Own roadmaps, projects, problems, and outcomes across full lifecycle.
• Participate technically through coding, coaching, reviews, and architectural guidance.
• Hire, coach, and grow engineers into technical leaders, building a high-performing team.
