Job summary

Hidden Jobs is seeking a senior engineering leader to head a Rapid Response organization spanning the US, UK, and APAC. You will balance hands-on leadership with technical credibility, overseeing senior ICs handling escalated issues, deal-critical requests, and platform maintenance for an exploit intelligence product.

You will partner with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and other Engineering groups to translate customer needs into engineering outcomes and shape the broader roadmap.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience managing software engineers, including multi-region teams.
• Background in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or threat intelligence.
• Experience as a senior or staff software engineer with credibility in technical discussions.
• Experience leading customer-facing, support, sustaining, or reliability engineering teams.
• Ability to prioritize urgent vs. long-term work across competing demands.
• Strong understanding of backend systems, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead Rapid Response engineering across US, UK and APAC with follow-the-sun support.
• Set priorities for urgent pre-sales requests, customer issues, feature requests and maintenance work.
• Ensure continuous coverage for urgent needs across time zones.
• Translate customer and deal-critical needs into engineering plans with CS, Sales, and Product.
• Collaborate with Product and other Eng teams to fold customer work into the roadmap.
• Maintain engineering quality bar, code quality, root-cause analysis, durable fixes.
• Drive hiring, onboarding, performance management, and on-call processes across regions.
• Report team health, throughput and customer outcomes to leadership.
