Job summary

CargoSprint in the United States is seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to own and grow the engineering team behind DrayDog — building innovative, technology-first solutions for the logistics industry. You’ll code, set architecture direction, and manage people as we scale the team and product's reach.

You will lead an engineering team to design, build, and evolve backend services powering core platform functions, set technical direction, coach engineers, and advocate shipping quality code

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with 2+ years as a manager.
• Strong cross-functional communicator; comfortable with ambiguity.
• Experience in startup or high-growth SaaS environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the full people-management cycle and hiring as we grow.
• Lead backend design and architecture decisions.
• Drive DevOps practices, testing, and observability.
• Collaborate with Product and other teams to align roadmaps.
