CargoSprint LLC is seeking an hands-on Engineering Manager to own and grow the engineering team behind DrayDog—delivering technology-first solutions for the logistics industry. You will code, set architecture direction, and manage the full people lifecycle as we scale.

You’ll lead backend design with Python, FastAPI, Temporal, and PostgreSQL, while coaching engineers to deliver reliable software and ship quickly in a high-ownership, high-autonomy environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering including 2+ years as a formal people manager.
• Experience in startup or high-growth SaaS environments.
• Strong cross-functional communicator; comfortable with ambiguity and high ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the engineering team; manage people processes (1:1s, performance reviews, hiring).
• Set technical direction, design backend systems, and maintain code quality; stay hands-on.
• Own the technical roadmap from concept to production; establish SLIs/SLOs and drive observability.
