Job summary

TheGuarantors is seeking an Engineering Manager for Property Management in NYC to lead the team responsible for core platform data models, property and address data, and APIs used by leasing, renewals, and operations. You will own architecture and drive technical outcomes, ensuring solid performance across downstream products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with leadership roles (Tech Lead/Engineering Manager).
• Hands-on fullstack capability with Go, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL.
• Experience owning data models, APIs, or platform primitives used by other teams.
• Experience with event-driven systems and data pipelines (Kafka/Redpanda) and cloud infra (AWS, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction and architecture for core property management data models and APIs.
• Lead integrations and data pipelines with external Property Management Systems; ensure data quality and observability.
• Maintain code quality, testing standards, observability, reliability, and security across stack (Go, React, TS, PostgreSQL).
• Oversee reviews, improve processes, and ensure predictable, sustainable delivery end-to-end from requirements to production.
