Job summary

Old Dominion Brush Company is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the design and manufacturing engineering teams in Richmond, VA. You will drive development and implementation of new and enhanced products, ensuring performance, cost, and schedule targets are met.

You will oversee CAD design, 3D modeling, documentation, and BOM accuracy while coordinating prototype production and supplier selections. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for cross‑functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product design and development in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong CAD and mechanical design capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and manufacturing engineering efforts for new and existing products.
• Ensure designs meet performance, cost, and schedule targets.
• Maintain design documentation including BOMs, drawings, and specifications.
• Produce and review prototypes, test data, and manufacturing layouts.
• Lead cross-functional teams and communicate project status to stakeholders.
