Job summary

Ultra Machining Company is seeking a Manager of Engineering - Process & Quality to lead the Manufacturing and Quality Engineering teams responsible for product segments. You will drive process and quality outcomes, coach staff, and own quarterly improvement initiatives while partnering with other leaders to deliver high-quality products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, or Quality Engineering.
• 3+ years experience managing engineers, resources, and/or projects.
• Experience working across manufacturing process and quality disciplines.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, RoHS, REACH, ITAR.
• AQS and/or CQE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and hold accountable dedicated groups of Manufacturing and Quality Engineers aligned to product segments.
• Own quarterly improvement projects and contribute to their execution with team members.
• Actively monitor workload and schedules using ERP/dispatch tools; plan ahead to keep work flowing.
• Lead engineering teams through the quoting process.
• Coach and support the team in making sound process and quality decisions.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Production, and other departments.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of processes across teams.
