Job summary

Southern Recruiting Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to drive process innovation, equipment design, and team development for operational excellence in a fast-growing, high-technology environment.

You will lead a high-performing engineering team, oversee capital planning and CAPEX budgeting, and collaborate with Corporate Engineering to implement engineering standards and strategies, ensuring safety, quality, and uptime across the facility.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or related technical discipline (advanced degree preferred).
• 10+ years of engineering experience in extrusion, polymer processing or other high precision continuous process industries highly preferred.
• CAPEX project management expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to develop technical talent and lead multidisciplinary teams (maintenance / reliability, process, instrumentation, etc.).
• Expertise in root cause analysis, statistical problem solving, and structured decision making.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• The Engineering Manager drives process innovation, equipment design, and team development to ensure operational excellence, safety, and scalability in a fast-growing, high-technology environment.
• Build, mentor, manage high-performing engineering team responsible for process functions.
• Lead capital planning, Capex budgeting, operating expense for Engineering and Maintenance.
• Collaborate with Corporate Engineering implement engineering standards and strategies.
• Oversee troubleshooting and root cause analysis for quality, productivity, and safety issues.
• Lead initiatives for scrap reduction, OEE improvement, cost education, uptime reliability.
• Relocation provided.
