Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned leader to guide a 10+ person team of developers and analysts in Dearborn, MI. You will own the product roadmap, drive Agile processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to align priorities and outcomes.

You will oversee architecture decisions, API design, and production reliability while mentoring engineers and shaping a high-performance culture focused on ownership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business.
• 7+ years of product management or engineering leadership.
• Direct management of teams of 10+ engineers/analysts.
• Hands-on background with GCP, PostgreSQL or Oracle, Java Springboot, React and Angular.
• Experience delivering full product lifecycles including production support and incident management.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders to define priorities.
• Strong people leadership: coaching, performance management, and team development.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 10+ developers and analysts.
• Set performance expectations, conduct regular 1:1s, and drive career growth.
• Own end-to-end delivery including sprint planning, prioritization, resourcing, and blocker removal.
• Own production support, incident management, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
• Establish and monitor SLAs and operational reliability metrics.
• Guide architecture, API design, microservices, data modeling, and engineering decisions.
• Translate business and dealer requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Report roadmap progress, delivery status, production health, and risks.
• Partner with UX/design and cross-functional teams on product experiences.
