Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to drive plant efficiency through strategic planning, capital planning, and maintenance program leadership.

You will partner with plant leaders to ensure safety, quality, and reliable production aligned with company standards. Responsibilities include supervising superintendents, managing CapEx and MRO planning, using SAP for reporting, overseeing PM programs, and developing a high-performing maintenance team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in industrial operations preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field desired; high school diploma acceptable with experience.
• Experience with maintenance management and safety/compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for plant maintenance and reliability programs.
• Oversee CapEx, MRO planning and annual forecasting with superintendents.
• Develop employee growth and succession plans.
• Utilize SAP for breakdown, overtime, and purchase order reviews; conduct RCA of variances.
• Review spare parts stock levels and participate in plant operations meetings.
• Manage P&L-related maintenance spend and preventive maintenance program assessments.
