Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Superintendent to lead the maintenance team across shifts, manage preventive maintenance, and drive safety and quality in the plant.

The role collaborates with plant leaders to optimize equipment uptime and process reliability. The position requires strong leadership, PLC, electrical wiring, motor control expertise, and a background in engineering maintenance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven leadership or supervisory experience with demonstrated knowledge in industrial electrical wiring, PLC troubleshooting, motor control, and equipment repair and installation
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is desired; high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Experience with SAP and maintenance planning is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage the floor for all shifts: schedule and supervise, plan and schedule preventive maintenance
• Review PM orders, work requests, and down day planning in SAP
• Identify and solve repetitive maintenance issues and conduct floor walks with supervisors
• Plan small scale maintenance projects with Engineering Manager and mentor apprentices
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company policies
