DigiCert is seeking an experienced software engineering manager to lead and scale our PKI backend platform. You will guide technical direction, plan major features, and drive execution while shaping a collaborative engineering culture.

This hands-on leadership role requires partnering with senior leadership, product management, and other stakeholders to deliver high‑quality, secure services. You will oversee a team across time zones, ensure uptime and compliance, and champion DevOps and

Qualifications

5+ years of people management experience in software engineering.
5+ years professional software development experience.
Experience leading large-scale cross-functional software projects.
Strong proficiency in C++ and Go.
Experience building RESTful web services and cloud-native apps.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with an agile, cross-functional team to plan and strategize large-scale backend systems for PKI.
Ensure uptime, compliance, and quality in secure, highly available web services.
Develop deep PKI product, architecture, and systems knowledge; stay ahead of industry standards.
Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team across time zones.
