Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a senior leader for the Security Platform team to design, build, and operate secure, resilient distributed systems for secrets and identity across our global network. You will guide architecture, run operations, and empower internal developers to use robust infrastructure.

Responsibilities include roadmap planning, design reviews, and hands-on participation when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring staff.
• Proven ability to design and implement distributed systems.
• Strong security background with focus on implementation, not policy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Security Platform team in building and operating secure, resilient distributed systems for secrets and identity.
• Plan and guide the long-term roadmap; review designs, plans, and code for quality, resilience and security.
• Provide growth and career development support for team members; manage tasks and priorities.
• May be required to be on-call outside standard hours to address issues.
