Job summary

Imagine Pediatrics in the United States is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering to lead a growing team delivering tech-enabled pediatric care solutions. You will mentor engineers, guide performance development, and partner with Product, Data Engineering, and Foundations to align architecture with business goals.

You will drive the technical roadmap, balance speed and robustness, and advocate for scalable, maintainable systems while ensuring clear communication with stakeholders and timely

Qualifications

• 9+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years managing engineers as a sustained function.
• Experience with a cloud-based tech stack (AWS preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication, and remote work experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and mentor a team of software engineers.
• Own the career growth and promotion advocacy for engineers.
• Partner with Product and cross-functional teams to shape data models and architecture.
• Facilitate execution of the technical roadmap with data-driven decisions.
• Communicate goals to stakeholders and translate to technical requirements.
• Collaborate to ensure scalable, maintainable, and extensible solutions.
• Drive progress when requirements are unclear, unblocking the team.
